The PURSUE UAP Declassifications

The PURSUE Initiative: Three Bold Phases for UAP Declassification
The Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters (PURSUE) is the largest coordinated release of U.S. government records on unidentified anomalous phenomena to date. Launched on May 8, 2026, by the Trump administration, PURSUE provides public access to declassified files through a dedicated portal at war.gov/UFO. The initiative is structured around three major release waves, designed to balance transparency with national security considerations while giving citizens, researchers, and the media a centralized hub for verified information.
The first tranche of documents was published on May 8, 2026, followed by a second wave on May 22, and a third on June 12, 2026. Each wave has expanded the scope and historical range of available material, including incident reports, radar logs, pilot testimonies, and interagency memoranda. Since launch, the portal has recorded more than 1.7 billion visits, underscoring unprecedented global interest in official UAP data. As additional analyses, summaries, and tools are added, PURSUE is rapidly becoming a cornerstone resource for understanding how governments have documented and responded to UAP encounters over time.
