Reckoning: The Unspoken Truth about UFOs and the Urgency of Now, published by HarperCollins on August 27th, promises to be his most direct, most evidential, and most urgent statement to date. Where his debut Imminent broke the story open, Reckoning appears designed to close the argument. The publisher's own synopsis leaves little room for ambiguity: "UAPs are real, the evidence is undeniable, and our future depends on how we respond." For a man who has spent nearly a decade being dismissed, marginalised, and legally constrained from speaking freely, those words carry enormous weight.

Elizondo has earned every word. He was the director of the Pentagon's AATIP programme. He resigned in protest when he felt the subject was not being taken seriously enough by those in power. He testified before Congress. He wrote a number one New York Times bestseller. And through all of it — the scepticism, the institutional resistance, the personal cost — he has remained consistent, measured, and credible. The UAP disclosure movement as we know it today would not exist without him.
