June 2026 — The Month Everything Changed
If historians look back on the UAP disclosure story decades from now, June 2026 may well be the month they mark as the turning point. Not since the summer of 2023 — when David Grusch sat before Congress and spoke the words "nonhuman biologics" under oath — has a single month delivered so much of consequence, so rapidly, and from so many directions at once.
The month opened with the third wave of PURSUE declassifications on June 12th, as the Pentagon released a further 53 documents, 10 images, six videos, and three NASA audio recordings spanning decades of government UAP investigation. AARO director Dr. Jon Kosloski confirmed in an official signed report that 40% of investigated cases remain without a reasonable explanation. The war.gov/UFO portal, launched just weeks earlier, had already recorded over 1.7 billion visits — a number that speaks volumes about where public consciousness now stands on this subject.
On June 9th, David Grusch stood on the steps of the United States Capitol alongside four bipartisan members of Congress and made his most direct and forceful public statement yet — accusing the Defense Intelligence Agency of obstructing congressional oversight, and calling for the immediate passage of formal disclosure legislation and whistleblower immunity protections. The pressure on Washington has never been greater.
Then, on June 25th, the Disclosure Forum convened in the Kennedy Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building — bringing together senators, representatives, scientists, intelligence officials, and researchers under the theme "Humanity at the Edge of Discovery." With 89% of both Republicans and Democrats now demanding greater government transparency on UAP, the political will is there. The question is no longer whether disclosure will happen.
